The company profile includes logos, detailed product descriptions, and information on company founders and their fundraising ask.
To create company profiles, the event organizers collect details in a Google spreadsheet via a simple online form. With Slideform, they can connect Google Sheets directly to Google Slides to generate dozens of investor profiles with a single click. Slideform provides The Idea Village an intuitive solution to generate custom formatted one-pagers from a spreadsheet. Idea village staff created a template layout for the company profiles in Google Slides. The template included text fields, logo images, and sections with table layout and custom font formatting. Once data on the participating companies are collected in a Google Sheet, the project manager uses Slideform's Bulk Mode to match the spreadsheet columns to the corresponding content fields in the template. Then she can generate a one-pager for each company, or select a specific set of companies with filters. Each one-pager is sent to a shared Google Drive and can be edited, shared, or printed just like any other Google Slide presentation. With Slideform, the event organizers are now free to focus on producing the best event experience for participants.
